there were so many new blog posts today on the big dance i was surprised. it seemed like a stampede. i think id be lying if i said i wasnt vying for a spot at the front by posting. i mean it seems like i am just restless, and i even debated not posting because i didnt want to rush to the front of the blog roll. but like i said, id probably be lying.
i feel like writing emails or letters to people i havent talked to in a while. right now. but i wont. ill just write on this blog and hope that its a rickshaw substitute. i wonder why we let laziness win out against keeping up with people. i mean, is laziness really that much more appealing than staying connected with people. textbook answer - no, but i make it seem otherwise.
ps, i cant believe i spelled vying right. im a rotten speller.

1.) you're right - update influx thing
2.) i like when you update.
I recently typed vying and looked it up to be sure it wasn't spelled 'vieing.' now I can't find out where I typed it.
I do not know if laziness is always the reason we loose touch. There are plenty of people I would like to see/ correspond/ talk to more, but I just do not have enough hours in the day. I blame work. Work consumes more hours than any other activity and only leaves us with a limited amount of time for EVERYTHING else. To keep in touch is not just choosing not to be lazy, but putting the time it takes to do that at the top of the priority list. Relationships are based ons hared time with people. If we have limited time, we have limited relationships.
