man, i've had this crazy urge to play a computer game called 'age of empires ii' with 'the conquerors' expansion. during middle school and high school i would wake up in the summers, stroll downstairs in my boxers, and play aoe ii with reckless abandon until the rest of my friends woke up (well into the afternoon). i would spend hours during some of the nicest days of the year playing without a shred of guilt. i mean it didnt really matter, i knew id be outside later, and thats was my morning routine. it was just carefree. aoe ii equals carefree days of summer. dang i need to find that game and play it. zach (aka chubi - t9 style) swears hes better than me at it.
badminton also equals lighthearted summer fun.
and frisbee golf. except when i threw chubi into a thorn bush after he hit me in the face with a frisbee - actually that was pretty funny.
tonight i made food that is probably the opposite of reckless abandon. bran, flax, almond flour muffins. surprisingly, they're actually good.

man, we played that... i could never win a match but my brother put it back onto his old college laptop 2 years ago, and brought on a brief revival.
