if i were an object with wheels, i would like to be a bigwheels. they are pretty robust and simple and a blast. if youre planning on going much farther than the end of a driveway your legs will be gone, but at least they are predictable. i feel like im always tuning my bike now and i kind of care if i flip it.
i like the dodge commercial for that big bigwheel downhill race, that would be pretty amazing to do. the big slip and slide one is great too. i would ride the gorilla.
bigwheels are pretty sentimental to me.
i used to be somewhat of a wrecking ball when i was a kid. my mom was showing me old pictures, and there are more than a few birthday or school pictures where i have gnarly road rash on my face. i think i broke a lot of lamps too. i dont think i ever evaluated consequences. i would just do 'stunts' and be completely shocked when i was in trouble or all effed up.
i remember being bored and hauling this huge branch out fom the woods into my street. a fire sounded good to me, so i lit it up. i was sortof jumping on/over the branch when i felt this burning or stinging sensation on my feet and legs. i figured i must have been on fire. when i looked down there were all these hornets on my leg and in my shoe, and at this point on my face. apparantly i overlooked a big nest on the branch. i got stung in the eyelid, feet, and i forget where else. this is when it finally clicked that i probably shouldnt have been doing any of this in the first place. the best thing was that my mom felt so bad looking at my swollen face - she didnt care about the rest of my mischeif. sucker.
