i forgot to mention that i liked the crowd for radiohead. hipsters, hippies, yuppies and the like. it was a good mix. i liked that radiohead played a lot of stuff from over the years. i probably would have preferred mostly new stuff, which might be a little hypocritical of me. typically, i like songs i know well, but i think i know some of their old stuff too well. i overplayed it.
anyway, i liked that they played old and new, and i liked that the crowd really got into the old stuff - even more than the new stuff. i think that's the sign of a good band or a good fan base or something. like when you go to a concert and people are silent until the new album is played and then everyone is jumping around...its just feels a little more shallow. when the band and the crowd seems just as excited about all the classics as the new 'hits' its pretty cool.
